Other Upcoming Meets and Special Events
Winter Carnival Meet: The Winter Carnival Meet will be held Thursday Evening, December 17, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 PM for all H2okie Aquatics Swimmers, both Olypmic Development and Stroke School swimmers. An Online Signup for the Winter Carnival Meet has been added under the Meets Page and the Stroke School Page. There will be no practice for all groups on Thursday, December 17th, because of this meet. The signup deadline for this meet is Monday, December 14th, but we encourage you to signup early. This will be a fun meet with relays, 25s of each stroke, and will serve as the culmination of Session 1 for all Stroke School swimmers.
Excel Aquatics Meet: The Excel Meet will be held in Brentwood, Tennessee beginning this Friday, December 4th. All swimmers that are able should try to arrive on Thursday evening in time for a warm up at the Williamson County Indoor Sports Complex. The specific time for this warm up will be posted on our website as an announcement as soon as we know what time we are able to get into the pool, but typically this is between 7:00 and 9:00 on Thursday evening. The Psych Sheet for this meet has been posted under the Meets Page of our website. Specific Warm Up times for our team at the meet will also be posted as an announcement on our website.
Additional Information
December 17th is the LAST day of Session 1. Swimmers that do not plan to participate in Session 2 should contact Scott Baldwin to let him know for billing purposes.
A preliminary version of the Christmas Break Schedule is available under the Practice Schedule Page, though specific times will be available later.
The Poinsettias plants ordered for the fundraiser should arrive early next week. Directions on how to pick them up will be available in next weeks newsletter.
The last SCRIP order of the year will be placed on Monday, December 14th and arrive in time for our Winter Carnival meet on the 17th. If you would like to give any gift cards for Christmas, contact Brenda. Click here for more information about SCRIPS.
